Steve and Elise. Rehearsal Dinner. Aruba.

Rehearsal dinners are an integral part of the destination weddings I shoot.  Similar to an engagement shoot, I get to spend time with the couple of course, but in a much different environment than a shoot.  I experience them around those most important to them, relaxed, in a natural state.  It really helps me get a feel of who they are, and as a result, to see past the anxiousness and craziness of the wedding day.  Steve and Elise were married in Aruba, and scheduled their rehearsal dinner on a wicked pier on the ocean.
